Constitutional Review Commission har skapat ett förslag på Gambias konstitution och föreslår bl.a. kvinnors och barns fulla rättigheter: (1) Women are accorded full and equal dignity of the person with men. (2) Women have the right to equal treatment with men, including equal opportunities in political, economic and social activities.
